Hello...another business card thread.
I am just doing detailing as a hobby...on the weekends and just doing production work for now.... I do not have a web site , domain name , or all the other contact sources. Just want something to give people with my name and phone #

I have been trying to put one together and just looking for suggestions and what you fellas think.................just vote for one .................make suggestions if you wish. Thanks :)

4 Use facebook as your website for right now....

Great idea!

Or at least make a business email address something from gmail or yahoo or something that you can put on there. Weird as it might sound those things make people believe that you are not a fly by night kind of business (not saying that you are at all just good to have on there)

I will also put my vote in for number 4 as it looks the best and I like the vertical approach makes it stand out :xyxthumbs:

4 really pops.

I'd go with that ... with these notes:

Get rid of the exclamation point. Let the reader generate their own excitement instead of forcing it on them. No punctuation is required here.

Capitalize the "i" in "interior"

Move your name down to just above the phone numbers.

Rename "cell" to "mobile". cell is an archaic term (who knew!)

align the phone numbers, not the type name.

hmm... photoshop... (keep the background--I had to destroy it, but I like it)

I like 4 as well plus the changes made by y8s.

I like 4. I think you should only have 1 contact phone number.

I agree with the one number and do you want people calling you at home? Some people call at odd times. That is assuming you have good cell service inside where you live.

Well #4 seems to rule. I can vote for the majority but #1 would be my first choice with the following changes. Most all business cards are horizontal.

Delete interior/exterior from the card
Change the color Black for "Mikes Wash & Wax" to to the Blue used in card #4
Only use one phone number, not sure it need a Home or Cell identifier
And keep Auto Detailing in the lower right corner.
Maybe consider including a website or Facebook information

One more change and this will most likely go against the grain. Delete the word Surface and just say "Restoring and Protecting Your Vehicles! Since the card says Auto Detailing its implied you are not doing auto body restoration work. If you felt compelled not to make this deletion maybe change the word Surfaces to Finish.

Remember to show us your final product.

I also think #4 is best. I was going to suggest "vehicle's surface" but would rather see it just read "... protecting your vehicle" as someone else just suggested. Would you need to re-list washing/waxing since it's stated in the company name?

Wow....Thanks for all the votes and suggestions :xyxthumbs: overwhelmed it the responses.

# 1 was my choice...and my wife and kids....now I'm not sure with the votes here and the awesome changes made by y8s..... Thank You Sir :) very professional

And thanks rmagnus for your suggestions also....I will implement the changes.

I don't mind people calling my home # but wasn't real sure I wanted my mobile # out there. But I also understand the importance of reaching new people.

I will go with just one contact.....and remove the identifier

I can make a business gmail address to put on it.

I don't facebook (I guess I'm to old school, or just to old)

I thought " Vehicles Surfaces" would cover the outside and inside....Surfaces...instead of just one Surface...But I also like rmagnus's suggestion

"Restoring and Protecting Your Vehicle"

I also will take out the extra ....washing , cleaning waxing....there is no need to repeat that.

This is exactly why I posted....so other eyes could see what I was missing

umm....anything else ? Oh yea.....I will post the final copy before going to press
