Well after reading here it sounded like alot of folks liked the collinite 845. Being new to the detailing game I wanted to give it a try. I had also apparently never used quality microfiber. I ordered the blue bogo m.f towels and a 16 oz bottle of 845. My truck has about 1020 miles on it.

Washed 2 bucket method with gold class car wash
Clayed with mothers clay kit
Collinite 845 applied with d/a with a black wax applicator pad.
Removed with the bogo blue microfiber towels.

I would like to thank you guys for all the great advice , just reading through the forum!

Thanks! I really debated on going opti seal, but for some reason the thoughts of something thats permanent scared me a bit! For long lasting, this seemed to be the most talked about thing.

For your first try, you nailed it! Great looking finish on it!

Great Job. Collinate 845 is a great go to wax.

Great job. Consider a second coat after a nice QD.... it should go on faster than the first layer and you amp things up a bit if you have "the eye".

Also, Opti-seal is not permanent.
