Is a dilution ratio of mefs ac+ 1:7.8 safe for interiors?
 
Yeah that should be fine. Just make sure you don't let it sit on the surface too long as it can sometimes have a whitening effect. But with common sense there's no need to worry :xyxthumbs:
 
unless its on leather. lots of ppl will recommend to have a dedicated leather cleaner
 
FWIW.... I have two bottles. 10:1 for interior (including stained leather, i.e. coffee spills and such) and 4:1 for the heavy work. I rarely need anything in-between, although we could probably argue that the 4:1 is a bit overkill for most stuff. (I use it for wheels & wells, and usually only for really stubborn stains or adhesive residue on interior & glass jobs.)

Yeah man its just that i accidently did the dilution wrong and ended up with 35oz of a product diluted at a 1:7.8 ratio, it was my first dilution and dont want to let it go to waste.
 
I love that you are using the correct format for ratios! It's a pet peeve of mine lol.


But yeah you should be fine, but I never spray APC directly onto anything in the interior, always onto the cloth and then that is rubbed onto the interior :)
 
Why not just pour some out and cut it down to the recommended 10:1 if you really want to be safe?
 
I would still be wasteing product, hmm sounds like an idea, however i now need to go do some math to see exactly how much to take away and how much water to add. And yes dilution ratios need to be exact, Like mr. Camaro said its like an ocd/pet peeve.
 
You could pour some into another container and just save it for later.

To be honest though you probably won't see much of a difference between an 8:1 dilution and a 10:1. Especially for just cleaning carpets or other interior surfaces.
