Hey to all AGians and the operators of the AG forum..... I just wanted to toss out a formal thank you for this forum. I have learned TONS from this forum that has helped my business grow exponentially - plus on top of that Mike's thread about inspection forms is just amazing - a thread that has inspired this thread. To have a ban of detailers get together and help each other through experience and knowledge is simply amazing. I can promise you all that without the knowledge learned from AG, I would currently have a "detailing" company that would call the pro's shortly after our services. Instead I have learned an incredible amount about products, procedures, and everything detail oriented through AG. Thank you again - you are all awesome!

I wouldn't wanna think of a world of detailing without AG or people like mike, meghan, and all the greats from here..

Plus the bonus of of this being such a friendly place where people here go above and beyond to give info...

B&B I think that YOU have brought a lot to the table yourself and don't realize it. Things like waking people up to waterless wash in a professional detailing arena, large boat polishing/detailing (including your non floating Cyclo) to name just a few. I'd say there are many folks here that owe you some thanks. I thank you as well as others here that have helped me and countless others to learn and develop a plan of action and procedures. One other thing....I'm REALLY glad that I'm retired from it all now (old, fat, tired) but without the help along the way I'd never have succeeded. You contributed to that help if you realize it or not. Thank you.

I agree with the thread +100. I now have a thread going asking for expertise on detailing boats. Never in a million year would I even have entertained the idea without my detailing community.... So I would like to thank the WHOLE AG community and would like to extend a big Happy Easter to all, and may God continue blessing you!

I couldn't agree more, the short time I have been here, I have learned a ton from AG staff and you guys the forum pros:), before I joined here about a month ago I had no confidence in myself to run a DA polisher, but after reading all of the helpful threads and watching videos from MIKE, I ordered the GG6 kit and used it for the first time last weekend, although I'm still learning, I had a smile from ear to ear running that thing. So I would like to say thanks from the bottom of my heart for you all giving me the courage to just do it! May god bless each and everyone of you all for being good people:). Kyle
 
Internet forums are such a quantum leap from how people learned things back 25+ years ago, and this is a great one.

Been here a few months now and when i first found this place i didnt know what a DA or microfiber was. Learned a lot since then and my wallet may never recover. Seriously, i may be an addict!

I would agree on both counts... what makes up a great forum are the members of course as they reflect the general personality of the forum and to me that means a fun, friendly and helpful forum.

As for "discussion forums" themselves... I have an article on that...

Discussion Forums - A relatively "new" invention...
