Hey AG staff, I've had issues with the 1 oz pump (ordered two and they both were really bad: leaked after pumping and one broke apart after 2 days). When asking for returns, I told the customer service person on the phone my issues and he said that the pump issue would "be brought up". Unfortunately, I don't think that the pump has been changed or taken down.

If you see AG's pump, Universal Dispenser Pump, Gallon Pump Dispenser, half gallon bottle pump, you see that it has 6 ratings, all 1 star. So I'm not the only one who feels this way.

AG, you guys are known for excellent car care products, help us out and stock THIS pump instead:

1Gallon Pump for Shampoo Conditioner and Home Use Dispenser

I've used it for the past 3 months and no issues. No leaking and works with very thick liquids too. All in all a much better unit. If I have to spend money on pumps, I'd rather do it here, so AG, please pick this up! :)

I would definitely buy like 10 of them lol :dblthumb2:

I placed an order and the AG pump was horrible for me too. Called AG and they said they'd send me a replacement. Got the replacement the other day and still have issues with it. Will call them on Monday for a refund instead. Will be getting this pump you linked. Thanks Roshan.

Roshan if the dentist gig falls through...
you've got your foot in the door to be the next Billy Mays!

The crayola ones are great to and they don't leak, swanicyouth did a review on them and after watching the video I bought the same ones a pack of 4 for like $10.00 with no issues, shipping included. Thin or thick liquids it works great with both.

I don't know Roshan...

If I'm correctly reading the information where you linked...
$5.99 seems a little steep for a one-gallon-pump-dispenser.

A person could pick-up 10:
One-gallon-pump-dispensers at US Plastics for that kind of money.

:)

For real....those pumps suck! I have a paper towel wrapped and taped around the end of mine. Great request and thread.

:iagree: Got of bunch of these Crayola pumps from Wal+mart.

I have the chemical guys version of this pump (same thing), and I have the same problems. It sucks. Leaked my v7 all over the place

Thankfully someone at GC refunded my $5 and told me just to keep the pump and use it for if I ever get a gallon of wax or polish (since those are thicker than liquid).

For you guys that mentioned crayola pumps from Walmart...is this what you are talking about? And they don't leak liquid prouducts?

I bought some pumps at Autozone and they are identical to the AG one and also have the same problems. I threw away the last one yesterday and ordered some of the proportioners from AG.

Crayola Paint Dispensing Pump for 64-oz & 1-Gallon Containers, 4-pack: Office : Walmart.com

That's them, I only found them online, not in store.

The one point I'd like to point out about the crayola one is that it pumps a 1/4 oz each time. So 1/4 the price for 1/4 the pump essentially.

The one I posted pumps 1 oz each time, which I would pay more for in my opinion :)

I'm glad to see that so many people agree with me though.

AG, please change your pump! :)

Interesting, when I searched for pumps 3 months ago I didn't come up with that. Have you used these before? Do they suffer from the seemingly popular problem of leaking after pumping?

Good catch Bob, I'm all for same quality at a cheaper price Im the MAN

P.S. More importantly, do they fit the gallon size? It seems like the cover is a bit small in the picture, but pictures can be misleading.

I agree but I do not run a detaling business so the 3 extra pumps is alright. Thanks for making that point. It will help others and they won't be disappointed when they receive them and it does not pump 1 full ounce.

Do your gallon jugs accommodate a 38mm caps?

If so...Yes.

:)

Bob

You wouldn't happen to know if a normal gallon of product like the ones CG use is 38 mm would you?

Also, have you used one? Does it leak?
