So car crazy and love detailing your car. I know I am how many of you rather detail your car when your friends family and wives or girlfriends wanna do something I know I would rather detail the car up before taking it out. So anal about having a dirty car. I know when my girlfriend and I started talking I would always detail it before I went over to pick her up for a night on the town lol. Any of you guys the same??

+1 I gave always been crazy about my car being clean. I had an 89 and Chevy pick up a few years ago and my friends used to hate riding with me cause of my "crazy rules"
1. No eating
2. No smoking
3. Knock your feet off before getting in
4. If your dirty (4 Wheeler riding 24/7) u gotta sit in the back
5. If u get it dirty u won't clean it you'll pay me to clean it haha..
The last one was kind of a joke...

I never drive in the rain...

During the summer months, I'll pull up the local radar online, looking for a window between showers to get to the store :laughing:
 
I always like my interior to be a lot more clean then exterior
 
I'm pretty car crazy. I get super annoyed when I wash my car, detail it all up and then it rains. Just recently, I spent 7 or 8 hours detailing my car and then it started raining. I work on my car at my parent's house in their garage, so I left my car in the garage and my dad drove me home, lol.

And say I don't have time to wash my car or if it's going to rain soon, I'll clean the interior just to feel a little better, lol. My car doesn't get very dirty on the inside, but I clean it once a week.

Another thing that annoys me is how my gf's sandals track in the same amount of dirt and rocks that I track in within a week and she does it as soon as she sets foot in my car, lol.
 
Well if you look at my sig it pretty much sums it up for me! The first number is how many times I touched the car with a paint cleaner/polish/sealant/wax for the 1st year of ownership (Sept 10th 2011-Sept 10th 2012) and the next number is for the next year.....yeah, I'm CAR CRAZY!

I've done a rinseless wash on a friends car in our parking lot because it was dirty....they were surprised and knew who did it!

If you ask me I'm normal..Ask my girlfriend and it's a different story. I watch the weather and wash and wax. If it rains, I wait until it stops and then run outside and rinseless wash. When I drive around all I do is analyze and judge the vehicles around me.
 
Haha hades I judge so many people's cars I just don't understand how ppl can not care the appearance of there car for example I saw a white Cadillac the other day it could stand out if the person would keep up on it but it was so dirty you could tell it hasn't been washed in months still had salt stains from the salt trucks from winter that's the worst dirt to have on the car so basically it was a brown Cadillac

I have a bedroom in out in the garage and on occasion when I do stay out there...
It's strange but cool waking up in the morning looking through the window, seeing my truck!

Hang in there. Help is on the way. There are two teams of Psychiatrists working on this 24/7. Hope they're not carrying buckets. LOL.

I know what you mean. Must be a Cadillac thing. Seems like the more expensive the car, the less the owner cares about it. There is an Audi R8 in my area and I have never seen it clean.
 
I'm all the above but here's the kicker .....no farting in my car!
 
Simply put, There is just no help for us. That's why we all come together here. This is the only place where other people understand me. Let's face it, when it come to our cars, we're OCD.
