I don't have a particular project. My wife and I just purchased a vehicle from a friend so over the weekend I did the whole Clay, Polish, Wax route. I've had a 10" Craftsman buffer for years and while it's "OK" I knew it was never really that great. I've had a PC 7424XP on my wishlist for years and decided to search for something comparable. I ended up on Autogeek and have spent at least 2 hours a night each night reading and watching endless videos on technique, products, pads, DAs, etc.

I've learned so much more about detailing in the past week I've got the itch. If my wife wouldn't kill me I'd drop a pile of cash on AG right now Im the MAN

Anyway I wanted to thank everyone who's contributed because just about every question has been answered and every question I've had has led to something I've never even considered.

So thanks to everyone!

Congrats and welcome. What part of VA are you located?

I'm about an hour north of Roanoke in the Lexington area.

I lived in NoVa for awhile during my internship and co-op and love the area.

Welcome. I am in Stuart, Virginia area often.
