No beading????

Did you shake the bottle for a while? I just applied mine this past weekend and its beading like crazy.

Yep that happened to me too.....BFWD must be shaken for 5 minutes let it sit for an hour and then shake again.

I'm repeating the obvious, but...

Shake shake shake.....shake shake shake....

(Sorry. I'll stop there.)

Not sure if that's the problem, but as always...the only thing better than a coat of sealant is....another coat of sealant.

Four Star UPP = same thing, FWIW. Shake like a mad man, stop, and shake some more.

It shouldnt look like that. I did my truck a couple weeks ago and topped it with liquid souvern. Beads beautifully.

luv a shine, sorry this is off topic, but how do you like the Sidekick. Would this be good for engine.

I will be putting CG LAVA on saterday. Good topper?

How soon after BFWD application did it rain? It needs some cure time.

i was wondering about this stuff too. i hope you just didnt shake it like others are saying cause i was thinking about buying some. from what i have read its one of the best.

Might be because you used FINE nano clay, and your car might been very dirty...

Just a guess here, I can't really know without more information

Our Q7 has Blackfire sealant on it and over 3 months later it still has superb beading, but as others have mentioned you must shake it for a long time and after applying to the entire vehicle I wait about an hour before removing.

Also as Sonic mentioned I would not recommend the Lava as a topper. Creates a giant dust magnet and in my opinion there are many better choices.

Shaking is a MUST with BFWD, but also let it cure for a while before adding a wax over it, i didnt see you say that you put a wax over it but in my experience if you dont let it sit for 1-3 hours before putting a coat of wax over it, it will not bead.
