2nd Buffer?

I like how you guys think.... I still have a few months before I come home so there is plenty of time to get my plan of attack down. I'll def be hitting the junk yards up and get some practice time in. Thanks again for all the great advice!! You guys rock \m/

Yea that was the tool I first learned on. I do love and miss the Dewalt sometimes.

Hey truckbutt do you work on customer cars, your own or for a body shop? Just wondering...

I just work on my own:

2011 Mustang GT

All done using the Dewalt rotary start to finish.

👍

The Dewalt is like a sharp knife. Use it right and you don't have to worry about cutting yourself.

I have both the 7424xp (xact fitting backing plate with LC HT 5.5" pads) & the Flex 3401 with LC interchangeable bp w/5" hybrid pad system. Two entirely different machines which I use on every detail. The FLEX is terrific and my go to unit, especially for compounding. I even like it for applying wax because I can set the speed at 1.5 and the blue finishing pads always turns. :props: Personally I think the Flex and PC complement each other (DA & Forced Rotation) whereas the Rupes and PC are more redundant. (both are DAs) Either way you won't make a mistake but having tried the Rupes, I would still pick the Flex - YMMV. Remember, ask 5 detailers a question and you'll get 6 different answers.

I love how I know what I know... And it's sufficient for the non AG'er. However after reading someone else's post I learn so much more.
