Horrible things you've seen walking by cars.

Saw this truck yesterday in the parking lot. Saw it again today on my way out and it had been washed. You could see the bird bomb etchings running down the sides. I'm sure you could see them on the hood/roof too, but I was in a hurry and didn't have time to take pics. I literally cringed when I saw it like this. YIKES.

Looks like that is from a Sea Gull target range.

I'm not sure how effective the brake vents mounted on the doors will be, but the faux camper top sure makes it look fast!

Not stating that it is, but its possibly a "Choo CHoo Customs" Blazer. They did alot of custom stuff similar to this. it might not be though, could be personally done but the style are similar. Heres a starcraft edition s10 blazer with similar styling-

Damn, I saw the most keyed up car in the world the other day. It was a BENZ and I forgot this thread. Im so disappointed in myself.

I saw this Viper yesterday at a car show. I hated seeing all that advertising on it, but I suppose it's one way to pay for the car. :(

Does that car live under a tree? I don't see how else it could have that much crap on it, that is ridiculous.

Trust me.

That is not me. Lol

1. I am not going to buy such a expensive car.......... I am more of a truck guy

2. No way I would take a car though a gas station car wash........ especially a $$$$ one.

My first thought when I saw this while stopped at the light...... what a dumb ass.

Second thought....... take a picture and post it on AGO.

Lol

Ok this brings a question back that I have had. When we talk about swirl inducing car washes, I was thinking as one with brushes and strips that touch your car. Since everyone loves a foam gun and a power washer, how is this any different?

I have to admit that the last few weekends I have spent so much time on the wifes and daughters cars that I am to pooped to touch mine. So I cheat sometime.

I saw a mini-van with a real nice revolver sitting on the consol also, in the same parking lot, a little dog in another car with only one window cracked about an inch. It was a 90 degree day and a cop was parked behind the car waiting for the owner to come out.

Because the one above does have brushes. Touchless ones are fine, but usually use stronger soaps that can degrade your wax or sealant.

OH my bad I did not see the brushes the first time and its good to know the brushless ones are basically ok,, just have to boost the wax afterwards.

Agree to disagree... It looks like an Eclipse with supra tail light conversion (a somewhat common mod)... the wing does not look exactly like a supra wing, it is an eclipse wing. Also, it does not have the side vents that the supra would have. The 3rd brake light should be on the rear of the trunk, directly between the tail lights - but it is not. Also, the shape of the car pictured previously is just simply not a supra... much to short... supra has a longer sleeker shape.

Well I always cringe when I see the shiny new car go into the swirl-o-matic.

I ride with a group of guys, some own black Harley's. The love their bikes, and love putting love marks in them. Not at all uncommon to see them whip out some paper towels and scrub dust, dirt, bugs, and bird poop off of their bikes (dry!). Nasty! I've mentioned before that they ought to consider using a good microfiber and a detail spray, but, 'nah, this works just fine, I don't see any scratches!'. So I show them the swirls, "Nah, that's not what that's from!".

Although personally, what I do, is just leave it alone. Bugs, dirt, dust, all of it. And there's plenty of it. It'll all come off when I get home and can do it right. It won't hurt anything sitting on the bike for a few hours; not nearly as much as scrubbing it with a greasy paper towel will.
