I've had a cople of bottles of 4 Star UPP in my collection for a couple of years and never gotten around to trying it. CeeDog has written some glowing comments about it. I recently re-read his review and decided to try it. Last weekend I did a correction using a DeWalt rotary, Menzerna SIP1500 and SF4000. I gave it one coat of UPP. Today I washed it and gave it a second coat of UPP. The hood has no sealant on it. It was recently painted and I did the correction on it but no sealant. (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/62900-undoing-body-shop-swirlathon.html) This car has never been garaged. It's a 2011 Mustang GT. I think CeeDog was right about this stuff. It goes on easy with a very oily/greasy feel and wipes off easily. See what you think.

I agree 4* UPP is a great product. It is one of my all time favorite sealants. Unfortunately I hardly ever get to use it anymore, 90% of my work gets CQ finest these days.

BTW, that's my black pony featured in DOG's review:D

I hope you don't mind, but this is such a great product and review, I posted the link for others who haven't seen it.

Gorgeous indeed. Ever condsideer painting the rotors for a little pop in the wheels?

very nice job, and nice car.

UPP has been my fav for a few years now, and will be my go-to again this year.

Thank you. The feel of UPP going on was a lot like BFWD. They also look and feel similarly once buffed off.

Still my favorite sealant and a true hidden gem. Its not really oily in feel, but slick indeed. Best part its easy to apply and remove and actually somewhat forgiving to those that overapply it, versus others that then need extreme buffing to remove.

Has anybody tried the spray version? (Four Star Ultimate Spray Wax Plus)

I'll be putting CQuartz on my black Acura soon and am thinking about using USWP as a topper wax. I could use OCW but I've seen so little about USWP that I'm wondering if anyone can give an opinion on it.

Best,

Steve
