chicago weather is terrible

I'm pretty sick of it myself but I've taken advantage of the few dry, 60+ days to get my spring detail in, next warmer day is going to be a Collinite #845 day!

We need to set up a little detail day, does someone have a nice garage and driveway, would love to meet some of the fellow Chicago guys!

I live in Florida and the past few mornings have been pretty nice and cool and clear skies, just beautiful. We're just being teased, though... lol.

Monday evening, I went to gas up my car and planned on washing it, but it started pouring at the gas station. But when I got home less than a mile away, no rain. BONE DRY. Tons of black clouds, so I cancelled. Then when it was too late to start washing, the weather was so damn nice. Breezy, cool, clear skies, you name it. That's Florida for you. It aggravates me and I've lived here all my 26 years.
 
Sounds like Chicago has been the same as here (3hrs south of Chicago). I literally got a slight sunburn on Mon. and now today it has been a mix of snow and rain all day. Its 37 here right now. :nomore:
 
It's been snowing in the Detroit area all day. Nothing sticking but it's depressing. It was 72 yesterday.
 
Well from the chicago weather forecast this weekend will be in the 70's:dblthumb2:

Where in Detroit are you? I was visiting family about 3 wks ago and it was cold, tried checking out the show at Kart2Kart and Auto Zone but it was windy and cold, still went but didn't stay too long:-(

I feel for all of you in cold/wet weather. It's super great out here in SoCal, bright, warm, and sunny! :xyxthumbs:

That's true! But the uneducated, uninsured, and inconsiderate drivers down here (and there's a lot) make it scary just to go for a drive.. :doh:

Got cold here In Florida over the weekend... 64. But Monday we were back to the 80,s. and sunny. Will be in the upper 80,s the next two weeks.

Your description of the weather up north Is why We moved to Florida 14 yrs ago,,,we do not miss the gray skies and cold for 8-9 months.

Sorry for your misery.

It's that @#&@#$ groundhogs fault!

Almost 2 feet of snow in the past two weeks...in late April!?! Even if it IS Minnesota.

There is a 'turnaround' coming starting today, maybe 65+ this weekend...works for me (at last).

I hear ya man ! golf course are just opening up here in central wisconsin this Saturday . I woke this morning to 2" of snow .
