3M™ Paint Defender Spray Film: Anyone has any experience with this???

Sounds like a cool idea, but being in Florida, parking the car outside for the film to fully cure is something to laugh at. In Florida, some form of moisture is bound to happen, not to mention all the sh!t that floats around and settles on the paint. If I had the money and know how, I'd just install the clear bra.

What's the price comparison between it and paint protectant film? Would be a nice up sale to customers that lease vehicles. Think I will look into it as a service.

It looks like Pepboys, AutoZone, and O'Reilly sell them. From the information I got off the Internet, its about $25-$29.

OK.... Here is the million dollar question. Who will take one for the team and be the guinea pig?????

Someone is already testing this on one of my Shelby GT500 forums, Ill let you know.

I'm curious as to how that's going to dry clear and blend in with the rest of the paint. It's being shot from a rattle can..

Looks like a lot could go wrong, just my opinion, I like the price though

I think the key to this is ones ability to control the immediate surrounding environment (temp, humidity, dust). A paint booth???

Did they mention about removing it? Will it peel similar to Plastidip? Or are you stuck with it forever?

According to the website it peels off much like plasti dip, I just sounded how glossy it is compared to the vehicle paint.
