This thing looked beautiful at the dealership and then we drove home in the rain on the expressway for an hour. I afraid to wash wash this black beauty. I'm a novice starting from scratch what should I buy?

It's not so much what you should buy as it is the technique you use. Without a good technique, you can buy the most expensive stuff out there and it can come out poorly!
