Cleaning/Polishing Chrome Bumpers

1. Looks like road rash. Do you live in a sandy environment?
2. Bumper may be stainless, not chrome...:dunno:

The p21s is now on my shopping cart. Thanks. Don't know why I waited so long.

It's one of those hidden gems. Hope it meets/exceeds expectations, I think it will. SHEESH, sounding like a salesman.

Been meaning to pick up a tub for a while. Haven't made an AG purchase in several months. Gotta get a few things for the Virginia Meet soon anyhoo.

Not really sandy in my area. I'm in Houston, TX. What can I do if it's road rash?

There is no fixing bad chrome other than re-plating. You can try polishing to see if you can live with the results but if you require perfect re-plating is the only way

I think I must have some inferior quality chrome, brand new Rinehart Racing exhaust on my Harley. Tried cleaning one side with P21s soap polish, followed directions as always, many many scratches. The Harley chrome on the heat shield right next to it came out beautiful. On the other side I tried some simichrome after I hit with the clay bar, I got more scratches and marring. Again the heat shield next to it is beautiful. Any suggestions?
