using the link above, Mike explains how to maximize profits with an AIO using the Pink 6.5" CCS very light cutting pad. :dblthumb2:

He mentions that a flat pad formula is not available, at the time of the article... doing a part #search from LC's website, i've found where flat pink foam pads are available, in various sizes.

Question: Will AG carry flat pink foam pads anytime soon?

Hi. no.

I realize what Mike used with success is the CCS 6.5 inch Pink Cutting/Polishing Foam Pad

What I would like to know is if AG will start carrying the flat pink pads, more specifically 5.5" as in the subject line. Other vendors carry them. Curious if the pink pads will make their way to AG. :buffing:

Have to check with Nick...

What I know is that anytime a person is trying to do only ONE STEP to the paint, then the key to getting the best results are to use the least aggressive products to get the job done and that includes only using a "polishing" pad, not a "cutting" pad for the application of the one-step cleaner/wax or AIO as some of you like to call it.

Here's the actual clickable link to my article as I make the titles to all my articles clickable links to make it easy for anyone to simply copy and paste them and then they read better than copying and pasting the actual URL address...

That was a fun car to buff out. This type of detailing is what I call beater detailing because the car was in "beater" shape even though it's worth a lot of money.

Thanks for checking with Nick, Mike.

Wasn't concerned about doing a 1-step with AIO and pink, just using the article, link posted in my OP, to reference the pink foam pad.

Good article. Great results. Just looking to see if AG is expanding the foam pad selection for different sizes, as they are available from LC and elsewhere. *Hoping*

I actually have the same question, regarding the availability of a 5.5" pink LC CCS pad.

Sorry, didn't see this...

At this time we only have the 6.5" in CCS

It's been clarified that it's a cutting/polishing foam formula. I don't remember that at the time I was using it if any specific information was available at the time except that it would be replacing a similar green foam pad in the CCS line.

I'm a flat pad guy but at the same time, I use what I have.

It's also available in 7.5" for rotary buffers, I haven't tried these with a Flex 3401 but they should work with this tool also.

These pads are a good option when you need a little more cutting action than you get from foam "polishing" pads but you don't want or need the aggressiveness you get from foam "cutting" pads.

Hi Steve,

Sorry to have kind of dropped the ball on this... it's not the norm for me...

Just spoke with Nick about getting the pink pads in both 5.5" and 6.5" in the flat pad design and he said he would look into it.
