What is this in my paint?

Can anyone tell what this? It looks like a ton of small etches/missing pieces of clear coat all throughout my car.

Those look like swirls, man.

Sounds like you may need to work on your technique a little.

PC with lake country hydrotech cyan and tangerine pads. Using meguiars OTC compound and polish

1998 mustang cobra. Two stage paint. Unknown if ever repaired. 5.5 pad size. Same defects throughout most of the car
