Handeling New Helper´s missing a Day at the shop

Sure is the Bad part, once working in a shop, We just open one like 4 months ago.

Since then, Is just tuff to teach the way that the shop needs to perform.
They get late for work, Like today Sunday. didn´t show up to work / something that I hate, that not even a call.

This is the Bad part I guess of been from Mobile to a shop!!!

Good think I´m so use to work alone, extra help is always good, but if it is real help, Not headaches like this guys!!!

For tomorrow I´m thinking into giving him a couple of day´s off.
Beacuse of today. If he think´s on doing it again. That´s the end of the ride for him

Any guys out there, with similar situation like this!! Any advise

You have to keep in mind, the BEST BEHAVIOR/ATTITUDE YOU WILL EVER GET FROM AN EMPLOYEE IS IN THE FIRST FEW MONTHS! After that, things tend to go down hill. If you're not seeing a stellar work ethic and an interest in the job, you HAVE to get rid of them. Now.
 
I would fire him today I have no time for people like that my customers come first. If they can't even call in then their done.
 
Im thinking if he didn't show today, he had done decided to quit on his own and just doesn't have the nads to tell you face to face.
 
Yep , no balls , he might send you either an email or a texto ! lol

I used to have a small business some years back. No more than 10-12 employees. It is very difficult to find someone who will treat your business the way you treat it. They just don't care. If/when you find a good one, pay them well and treat them well.

When I got out, I said never again would I go into any kind of business that I could not do my myself.
 
Fire his a$$!

If he put you and the guys that want to work in a crappy situation, No show/No call he has to go.
 
Assuming he's not in the hospital, dead or anything similar, two words...BYE BYE.

He (or his wife, girl friend, parent) could have called in 'sick'...he (they) didn't...BYE BYE.

A person with ethics like that, gives those of us who actually care a bad name. I m disabled physically now and cant work, but would still show him ethics.
