Summer coming to AZ.

OK, now I feel cheated by mother nature. We live about 2.5 miles south of the 60 at Lindsay Road. All the rain must be missing us.

It has rained here every night for a week. I feel like I am back in Pennsylvania. Don't remember Barclay Jack's. What was it ?

Restaurant and bar with live music on the north side where Lakeshore Drive hit Rural.

Was a Hungry Hunter for years, now it's a vacant lot.

A few of the bands made it to the national stage.

The company I worked for used to reserve the whole place (including a band) for our semi-annual physical inventories.

All of the management and office personnel who had participated in counting inventory got free dinner and drinks for the evening.

Since I was running the computer operation, I had to stay behind until we got the first physical inventory reports and variances out of the computer system. So, I usually got there around 11:00PM with the reports.

Greeted by a bunch of drunks who couldn't read the numbers anyway:mad:

Still got a free dinner, but a lot less drinks than everyone else.

I know the area you speak of. Ate at the Hungry Hunter a few times. They were going to build Condo's on that lot before the bottom fell out. I think they built a Starbucks there recently.

Not a drop here. It's only 84 degrees, and about 36% humidity.

Just got back from Scottsdale, out near Scottsdale Quarter, there were cars that were literally under water. Apartment complex at Scottsdale and Cactus, several cars under water up to the windshield!

Wow, sounds exciting. Don't know what the humidity is here but I can slice it with a knife.
Jim is missing all the action although I don't think he needs/wants that type.

No one wants any of that action. We followed a huge group of bikers out there through some pretty flooded spots, they didn't look like they were having the outing they expected. ;)

I'm thinking goretex, those Scottsdale drivers were blowing past them through about 4 inches of standing water with reckless abandon.
 
A few drops for about 5 minutes half an hour ago, and then nothing. Cars are safely in the garage.

Down to 79 degrees and up to 38% humidity.

Indian Bend Wash carries a lot of water through Scottsdale when there's a quick, heavy rain. That apartment complex must be close.

Southeast Valley is highest ground in Maricopa County. That's why we built a house here!

We haven't had the Salt River flood in a lot of years. It's way overdue, based on history. That takes a lot of snow on the mountains, and a rapid warming up with some rain to fill the reservoirs.

Happened next to me 4 yrs ago, also flooded part if the house. I love big trucks in times like these.

Your never gonna get rain with the cars in the garage. 99% sure way to get rain is wash the vehicles and park them outside. I know as I have tested it.
