Wanting a wet deep look suggestions

What would be the best way to achieve this look on a vehicle ... can you tell me some products and procedures of making this happen on a white Monte Carlo and on a blue s10 truck (very light swirl marks on both vehicles) suggestions I was looking at pinnacle products
 
Technique and skill before products. I was never a pinnacle fan after I used there body work shampoo. It was slippery but no suds. If you can't get car shampoo right then I will skip the rest of your line. I still have it as a back up just in case. What kind of equipment do you have and time and money to invest. If you are on a budget clay bar and QD as a lube, a quality AIO with a PC and some foam pads can gloss up the paint and cut most swirls pending how deep they are and what pad you use. Look for quality products that get good reviews regardless of price point. You don't need to spend a lot of money to get amazing results. Quality comes at all price points
 
and the wet deep look comes from polishing the paint. sealants and waxes just enhance it and protect it.

As of right now I always used Meg's cleaners and Im looking to buy a DA buffer so I'm basically starting completely over with new products and new procedures I always keep up on my car but did everything by hand. The car shines but I want that more wet depth look
 
Oh also I been using Meg's wash and wax every so often if not I use Meg's gold class shampoo I'm more looking for polishers and new waxes to try out
 
M205 and M105 are your standards. I use CG V series( you can get 4 4 oz sample bottles from CG for $20) and the P40 which I love on softer paints. All of these polishes are water based so easier to clean pads and better yet ZERO dusting and long working times before they flash out. I like Menzerna but it dusts giving me an extra step to clean up. After CG polish quick IPA wipe down and the paint is ready to go. The V series are rated for scratch resistant and ceramic clear coats as well as conventional clear coats.
I use a PC and a Flex. 5.5" Hex Logic foam pads and Black optics MF pads. Just starting out get a PC you would need 3 orange pads and 2 white pads to get you started. You should be able to do one car with 5 pads maybe having to wash one maybe two pads. Just remember that the PC is not a fast cutting machine. It's safe and effective. It's damn near impossible for you to mess up paint unless you hit the car with it or let your pads cake up with polish and end up dry buffing the paint. I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone here who messed up a car with a PC or a flex.

Besides all the prep, Pinnacle Souverän is a very good looking "wet" wax. Apply it over a tough sealant like Powerlock for longevity and good looks. If your looking for a wax for a daily driver I like Fuzion a lot. Looks good on every color.

If your looking to spend a little less, CGs Pete's 53 is not bad at all. p21S 100% is also nice. I would tell you NaviWax Ultimate blows both those away, but you have to order it from overseas.

Of course, no wax lasts too long. So you want to re- apply it every so many weeks or so if the car lives outside. Maintaining it with a good spray wax after you wash will make the wax last much longer and keep the car looking freshly waxed.

If your going to use Souverän, I like Pimnacle Spray Wax. For Fuzion, WG Spritz Sealant. Aquawax works with pretty much everything and leaves a nice finish, but does attract dust.

Wolfgang polishes work well and are user friendly. The TSR takes care of some pretty bad swirls on an aggressive pad and always finishes haze free for me.
 
Yes CG is chemical guys. Find what you like and go with it. I agree with Swanic, P21s is a good wax for the money. Does just about everything well. Easy on easy off, looks great on metallics and gives pretty good longevity. I have 3 just because I do. P21s 100%, Pete's 53 and CG 50/50. I love them all. Remember wax just protects your paint. What makes the car shine, reflections and gloss is polishing. Wax and sealants enhance and protect. NaviWax. Never heard of that one. I will look into that one.

I'm trying to spark some interest in NaviWax around here because its pretty incredible. It comes from Japan, you can buy it through the UK. Its does everything in a "class leading" fashion: application, looks, beading, and durability. No, I don't sell it. It smells like feet and armpits though.

FEET & ARMPITS?? I have to pass no matter how well it performs. Half my pleasure comes from the smell of the wax. Thanks for sharing that tidbit of info. I'll take Naviwax off my hit list:dblthumb2:

What do you mean by class leading?

It probably smells like armpit's and feet because that how durable it probably is. Lol
 
Dang... Now I want it lol

I'm going to visit my detailing store 40 minute drive. (it shall remain anonymous) but I should bring an extra wallet, so I can top my purchase.... Going to be spending some dinero today :)
 
I'm curious about it because I never heard of NaviWax. We should start a NaviWax thread and see if we have enough people to stir up a debate.

Back to the original thread. As long as you avoid most of your over the counter consumer grade products it's rare you find complete garbage in higher end detailer products. Does everything live up to what it says, No. You may find some good stuff over the counter. My all time favorite APC is Purple Power. Does everything I could ever hope for and more. Is it exceptional not by any means. It does so much and it's biodegradable. It's my go to engine APC. I keep two buckets of water and PP during a session. One for pads one for MF as presoak before they get washed in the good stuff. I use it to clean the shower. It rips through dirty litter boxes. 1 cup along with Tide in the washer and my grimy work clothes from the print shop come out squeaky clean.

I always go by research and reviews and go from there. I just never was a Pinnacle fan. You don't have to buy the most expensive products. Try and buy quality and the most bang for your buck. Just because it's a $500 tub of wax does not mean you cannot get the same performance and look from a $50 tub. It's about what you prefer. I always use what I use on my cars on my clients cars unless the request the tires and vinyl be extra greasy then they get the old bottle of Eagle One or Armor All stashed in the back of my supply closet.
