2014 mustang gt track pack 10 coats of wax

If you take about 8 coats of wax off...you might be able to catch the Camaros...(weight reduction).

The Stangs are fit and trim compared to the Camaro's, LOL, plus they look WAAAAAAAY better. I'll give this to the Camaro's, they've got great engines, now if they could call Jenny Craig to trim down some of the flab that would be something!

So you live in your parents house still and bought a what, $36k car? UGH. Then youd be mad at them if they dented or scratched it? I must be getting tooooo old and uncool.

The car is shiny and very sweet though man.

Settle down tiger. No sense of humor on this board ? Okkkkk...

Lol I know it took 6 hours to do
Looks great and I'm not knocking it, but you probably removed each previous wax unless you spit shined each layer. All carnuba paste waxes have solvents in them, to keep it spreadable. Unless you dilute the solvents (spit shine with water) you will be removing some of the previous layer. I'm surprised with that many layers you didn't get wax halo's on black paint.

I agree with Rsurfer. You must enjoying waxing your ride.

Enjoying waxing your car. That sums it up for waxaholics (like myself) It's not efficiency,

longevity, or even the price of the wax. Layering smayering, wax away and get ya some

good ole garage therapy!

Gary my man...thought you died and went to heaven.

I took a job with a global company. I've been doing a lot of traveling so most of my cars are covered up in the garage. I just got back from 2 weeks in Toronto. Before that I was in Rio de Janeiro off and on for 3 out of the last 5 months. I hope you're doing well.

Haha Jenny Craig...

All jokes aside, 10 coats is probably too much, yet i think it was a very good experiment to see the results. In the past, i'd wait a day or two before applying another coat of wax to a vehicle. (garage kept, not driven of course).

Oh and ignore people from Illinois, they are the worst ;)

No, I get the humor... its funny to think about someone living at home and driving a $36k car!!! Ridiculously funny!!

It sounds like he would prefer not to waste his money renting. Nothing wrong with living at home and buying a car you would enjoy rather than something you wouldn't.

Well, we can all also agree on the therapeutic side of applying LSPs...

The avatar is a Gallardo and a Viper.
