Hello everyone,

This is my second post and I want to tell you that I love this site. However I've been doing a lot of reading that now I don't know what product to get. I need your assistance bad. As some of you know I just purchased a new black 2013 Acura TSX which I plan maintain keep it looking clean. I also owned a 2007 Toyota Sequoia which is in need of a major detailing job, has lots of swirls. So I need your help in deciding what to get, like a comple list of interior and exterior prodcuts. I would greatly appreacite it if you post your product recommendations.

Like I said there just to much information in here for me to decide what to get.

Thanks,

Alright here are some of the products I've used and liked.

Wheels:
Sonax - Great but kinda pricey
CG Diablo Gel - What I use now, able to be diluted and doesn't have a horrible smell like the sonax.

Tire Gel:
Optimum Tire Shine (Worked decent, sometimes needed multiple coats.)
CG G6 Hyper Coat
Griots Tire Shine (MY FAVORITE)

Wash:
Pretty much any CG Wash.
DP Extreme Foam Carwash
Blackfire Carwash Shampoo

Decon:
IronX

Compound:
M101
M105
Sf2500 (Menzerna)
FG400

Polish:
M205
Sf4000
Sf4500

Pre-Wax:
Eraser

Sealant:
Jetseal 189
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 2.0 (Favorite)
CG Hybrid V7 (Kind of a mix between sealant and quick detailer)

Wax:
CG Pete's 53
Pinnacle Souveran
Wolfgang Fuzion
Pretty much any of the DODO Juice's waxes. Liked everyone I've tried.

Interior Cleaner:
Meguiars Interior Cleaner
Surf City Interior Cleaner
DP Interior Cleaner

Interior Dressing:
DP Interior Dressing
303 Aero Space dressing.

Window Cleaner:
Usually just use Stoners Glass Cleaner

Im sure others will chime in with their products. Also good luck taking care of that Black Acura!

TundraPowe, thank your recommendation but I'm new to this and I don't know all the accronyms mean. So can you tell me who makes 22PLE?

I would get some 22PLE on this car right away.

I forgot about that coating, excellent suggestion. I am going to be getting some of that also.

22PLE is a coating, sorta like Opti-Coat. Has amazing reflections!

The car's new. I can't imagine it needs anything more than Menzerna PF4500 (very fine polish) and a polishing pad or at most a light cutting pad. I also have a black 2013 vehicle with swirls on all of the paint after a not so competent detailer washed it and the Menzerna PF4500 was perfect.

You might also want to get a fine clay bar, IronX, and a nice sealant such as Blackfire Wet Diamond or Menzerna Power Lock. And don't forget the standard car washing equipment such as a wash mitt, grit guard and good car wash liquid.

add a clay bar, but I would definately get a permanent coating on there, I have a honda and this paint is soft

It's pretty much in line with c quartz and opti-coat......

Appearance and durability of 22PLE is off the charts. At a cost of roughly $60 per application it's a steal. It has overtaken Chemical Guys E-Zyme Natura as my #1 seller.

I was replying to another person that said it was way over priced. I think its the best coating as far as looks go. once I get my car back from the shop ill be putting a coat of it on it
