Some photos of my work I did to prepare my grandfathers 31 Ford Model A Cabriolet Street Rod. His car was homebuilt in his a garage at age 70. The car is all steel as well and was built to be a driver-not a show car....His car was accepted in the Good-Guys East Coast Nationals indoor car show(happening this weekend). Some left over compound from his detail is seen a couple photos which was later removed.

Products Used:

G110
D300/M105 combo on 5" MF Cutting Pad
M205 on 5" LC white pad
Topped with M26
Tires & Wheels cleaned with DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss
Tires dressed with M40
Glass Meguiar's Perfect Clarity

And the damn pollen was already showing up in the outside shots

Awesome car. And great job on that, looks great. Must have been nice to work on that car.

I like it.

Nice work. What you did I described in the introduction of my how-to book, and that is you, like myself and many on this forum, have the natural to take a diamond in the rough and turning it into a glistening gemstone.

Polishing paint is an art forum, not a grinding process. I takes the right products, pads, tools and techniques but it also requires the human elements of care and passion.

You my friend are an artist...
