Favorite Spray Wax .... How, Why, Uses ??

i think for the money D156 is the best all around spray wax you can get. I also like Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax when used over Pinnacle Souveran wax. It is a little pricey but a little goes a long way and looks great. I have used Mothers California spray wax over their California Synthetic with very good results, Very slick and a nice look. You can get the sealant and the spray wax for under $20.
 
I have a shameful amount of TW Ice Spray Wax left over. So much that I haven't even tried my Aquawax yet.

That's exactly what I was wondering. I visited tons of auto stores trying to find D156, only to find out now that I can get it at Wally World lol. Thanks!

I like to use Mothers Spray Wax after I wash to help bolster my layer of wax already on the car. I'll sometimes follow that up with Mothers Instant Detailer as well.

Do yall spray on and wipe off or let it sit like you would liquid or paste wax? I'm typically spraying on and wiping off immediately.

No problem. I did duct tape the bottle cap on to keep it from leaking so I hope it held up!
 
Probably my favorites are, im not sure if they are considered spray "waxes", Chemical Guys V7 followed by Adams Spray Detailer and finally Dodo Juice Red Mist (not sure if thats the correct name)

But for the record I hate Aqua Wax and Optima Spray wax......

Curious as to why you hate two of the most favorited spray waxes on this forum?
 
OCW for me also. Recently, I've been experimenting/using CG P40 in between washing, etc. I just bought some V7 and after I finished reading the thread from OZD 35, I'm starting to wonder ... I need to get into the Forum more often. LOL

Ah yes, I seem to remember a certain someone who gave me a hard time for using Megs Ultimate Quik Wax aka D156 and now your acting like you found the holy grail of spary wax. My, my how times have changed.......:rolleyes:

For the record I like AW, QW and V07 and have all 3 in my arsenal!

Its because after being here on AG I've become anti OTC products, its good stuff and your right about the D156 and Meg's UQW being the same thing other than the smell.

To everyone on AG:

DEREK WAS RIGHT, DEREK WAS RIGHT!

I'm using my sample for sure, just this morning I ONR'd the car, sprayed on some D156 and hit the tires w/ DG #265, all these numbers, sounds like these companies got in bed with BMW or something, LOL!

I love Turtle Wax ICE as well. My favourite is actually XMT 360 spray wax. The slickness lasts a long time for me in my experiences.

V-7 For CTS and R/T....Lucas for work van , I use it when drying off van and seems to last awhile ..IMO.
 
DG Aquawax. Not only is it my favourite spray wax, it's one of my favourite detailing products period. Crazy easy to use, smells great, looks great, inexpensive. Wash with DG 901, rinse, spray AquaWax, dry with a Guzzler, admire shiny car. :cruisin:

Can't say much more than that, well, other than using the DG rinseless was which has AW in it, win win!
