I was thinking, what if I need something fast and local? What do you guys use thats locally found at major chains/store? I know about the Meguiars ultimate wax, but thats ( from what Ive read ) more of a sealant then wax. Im looking for a carnuba wax mainly.. Ive read a lot about Surf City Barrier Reef ( liquid and paste )

Sadly, I only know Meguair. I'm so into Internet shopping now that I have no clue what's out there. Good question though.

Yeah same here, its cheaper more convenient, more stuff available and so on...

Throw a vote in for Meg's NXT Tech Wax...

Edit: which actually, if I'd have read carefully, isn't so much carnuba as it is a wax / sealant, I believe.

NXT tech wax is a sealer, it works fantastic i might add.
easy application and removal, can be put on in full sun even if the panels are pretty warm. I have used it quite a bit, but i am running out. probably order some ultimate liquid wax.

Also meguiars gold class paste is great, however it will leave behind some dust.

What types of waxes dont stick to black trims? Im guessing its the synthetic ones right?

Nu finish

Sent from my SCH-I605 using AG Online

I see this Nu Finish lol from time to time and I dont know if its trolling or srs haha

Megs Ultimate, its as good or better than most boutique stuff.

i've tried surf city.. it's OK
TW Ice... it's OK.

Mothers FX... Allright, better than the above, but Mother's reflections is better IMHO (havent' seen it OTC but i've not looked everywhere for it OTC)

Mother's Cali Gold... OK.

Meg's Quik Wax.. (burgundy bottle).. OK..

Meg's ultimate Quik wax - best that i've found OTC and have tried.

The above are all the spray/liquid forms - i have not tried the paste forms of the above waxes..

But thats not a carnuba wax. I like 'nubas because they hide quiet a few imperfections I have on my paint.

Is that true #26 has the best reflections number or something like that?

I, too, have a few paint-imperfections on a couple of my vehicles.

So:

If you don't mind...
Would you please list the 'nubas you use; like; and, are capable of 'fulfilling' the:
Hiding-of-paint-imperfections-mission. Thanks.

^^^Is Meguiar's #26 a 'nuba-wax though?^^^

:)

For OTC, my picks would be:

1. 3M Show Car Wax (liquid or paste)
2. Mothers California Gold (paste)

2nd vote for nu finish...good reliability but dusts like crazy...essentially the same formula as Rejex....same inventor (i have talked to him)
