Hello Everyone!
Been a long time since I've been active on here. (Still kept up on reading though) Haven't had much free time lately between work and finishing up grad school.

But I've sold my jetta and now have a 2013 CR-V (user name change coming)

I know Honda's paint tend to be very soft, anyone have any first hand experience with this color- Kona Coffee Metallic? Such a cool color to watch change in different lighting!

Finally have a Griots polisher to keep it looking nice (something I never really used on my black jetta)

Can't wait to get back to trying out great products!

honda paint are usually soft. not sure about this new model but im pretty sure it's going to be soft since it's Honda. since it's new im sure you only need a light polish to get rid of all the dealer swirls.

Nice color, but i gotta ask, why the CR-V and not the competition such as Escape, Rav4, etc? Is it mainly the reliability that sold you on the Honda?

Reliability was a factor. I did not like the new rav4. Have a 2008 rav4 in the household and they still drive/ ride just as bad. Not impressed with that car at all.

The escape pleasantly surprised me, but it was considerably more money and that's where reliability played in.

The rogue was small and cramped and I just didn't like it. The cx-5 was a close contender, but they weren't as redilly available like the cr-v. I qualified for almost $2K in incentives and .9% financing with Honda so it was a no brainier.

Congrats on the new ride and kudos to you for the excellent color choice. I suspect it isn't a popular color, but seeing it up close, it's gorgeous.

Thanks for your .02 on that, yes, the Rav4 has never impressed and have heard bad thing about Ford's Ecoboost.

Enjoy your new car!

Nice Crv, love that color. Recently purchased a new raV4 for the wife, the crv was a close second but she liked the interior of the rav4 better. Thought it was silly the base crv didn't have a passenger armrest.
