Can I top this spray over collinite 845?

You can use it over anything it's like a QD and spray sealant in one

Although very tempting.... don't drink it!

...but yes, you can use it as a topper/drying agent on virtually any LSP and you will love it (look and slickness it leaves behind)

Ive been on the fence to buy V7 because i have 3/4 gallon of Megs D156 Synthetic spray wax...

So i have a few questions for V7 users who have tried both:
rate 1-10 please...

Longevity?
Shine factor?
Dust repelling factor?
Ease of use? [COLD & HUMID climate responses would be great]
Any other info i can get

Longevity? 3/10
Shine factor? 8/10
Dust repelling factor? 5/10
Ease of use? [COLD & HUMID climate responses would be great] 9/10 (HIGH humidity of South Louisiana)

It makes things really shiny but is not a stand alone product. I use it as a topper/gd. All in all a good product.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using AG Online

Thanks...

so Dr Pain do you prefer V7 or D156?

I personally like the optic qualities I get from V7 better, and it leaves the paint silky smooth. Don't get me wrong D156 is good but I find myself using the V7 as my go to.

so you gave longevity a 3, lol is that even a week?

I treat V7 like a super duper QD on steroids. It's not a stand alone but IMO for everything else it's great! Surprisingly awesome sometimes.

If you want more protection For boosting purposes I'd go with bf poly spray.

With a product like v7 it's not about longevity despite manufacturer claims. But it's slick as hell, and gives a real crisp glossy look.

On my black 2013 Raptor who is a garage queen and washed bi-monthly, I would say that it does last a couple of weeks solid, but for DD baking in the Southern sun and torrential rains (as in my weekly wash customers) I would say that the vehicles do benefit greatly from a weekly topping (post wash). Let's put it this way, I have never found myself skipping a wash.

On a positive note, a little spritz goes a long way. I normally have about 10-12 spritz per car to restore the V7 "qualities"

Indeed! A gallon is the way to go, you'll have it for life! And the price point for what it is per ounce can't be beat.

I buy V7 by the gallon and use it as I am drying my car after each wash... love the stuff.

anyone wanna send me an ounce so i can try it and do a side by side comparison and post the results after initial application then a week later after wash???

That way if i live it as much as you all, I be tortured if i like it waiting for my D156 to finish off ????

lol

^^V7 has been reviewed and put through the ringer a lot on the Internet. You'll find some good side by sides on some UK forums.
