Worst interior I have encountered so far...

Awesome job.

I am always amazed and how some people will treat their cars. I cannot see how someone could even tolerate the mess in that interior.

I am thinking her house is the same way. Some people just destroy and move on.

To the OP, very very nice turnaround! :-$

I like the website a lot except for;
the main logo at header of page is blurry
the buttons in the packages & prices are look a bit scattered/unorganized
your contact us page has no phone number, unless that's intentional

Great job man- Love the stripes, that's a great touch!!

..... on a side note. The worst interior I had to do was on a dog groomers station wagon. I actually had to flea bomb it before I could start on the interior. Absolutely disgusting smh

This is why I don't loan my cars out. Other people have different views on cleanliness, and if someone brought my car back looking like this our friendship could suffer.

Thanks for the feedback - I have fixed it going forward.

Your web page is nice. I noticed your not into basic details with wash and AIO.

Correct - I have a FT job during the week and this is a side venture because I love detailing cars and my wife lets me do this on the weekends because the proceeds go towards her Mini Cooper fund :).

I don't get too much personal satisfaction out of the basic wash/AIO. I like the polishing and restoration side of it. I typically only do 1 (possibly 2) cars per weekend. If a customer contacts me about a basic service or needs a mobile detail service, I will refer them to others in the area who provide that.

So far that has worked out, but it may change in the future.

Thanks for the kudos. I'll be honest...I love detailing, but this project sucked. I have no idea what the stains were, but my shop vac was calling me names for the crap I sucked up from under the seats. I kept telling myself that I was detailing this car for the pics to get new clients and I couldn't give the car to MY dad unless it was clean.

I used Folex and Meg's APC back and forth and steamed and extracted and scrubbed and blotted for hours on them. I went through 2 5 gallon buckets of slop from the extractor. She also smoked so I had to neutralize that too.

I charged her more than what I normally do, but still underbid due to the time and product I used up on it. Lesson learned.

Would still like some feedback on the site. I traded services with a guy who put it together for me.

Nice work man, only suggestion I have is to have the photos pop up where you are scrolled instead of having to scroll up to view them.. just a pet peeve to me

You did an amazing job on that car. I suspect the daughter generally doesn't care about much at all when she has nothing at stake. I'm sure that production took a few years off your life, but the new clients and the smile on the face of the owner I'm sure made up for it.

Excellent job, but what I am most impressed with is your website. It is very concise and your pictures are excellent. Top notch!

and put your link in your signature, I always like checking out guys sites for services and prices.

Did you put new mats in or were you actually able to make them like New?
Also the door looks like its got a whole new plastic on it?

no new mats...there were never mats in the car in the first place. I did use a detail brush to make the carpet fibers into rows back and forth when I was finished cleaning...neat trick I learned from watching Larry on AmmoNYC videos.

Good catch and thanks on the door pic - I didn't realize I had posted the before of the back driver side door and the front driver side door for the after...I have corrected it.

I meant carpet...I always seem to mess up what I'm trying to say while I'm posting at work :)

Great job though. I would have thought that was something ...unfixable lol

I cannot believe the damage that the client's ungrateful daughter did to that poor car! I would send my kid the bill....

You do amazing work.

Your hardcore dude! Hope you wore a hazmat suit for that job. Great work!
