It's raining cats and dogs here so I stepped outside and snapped a picture of my car with Detailer's Paint Coating on it. Bryan and I stuck around last night to give my car the full DP treatment - stay tuned for a write up. Until then...

Please excuse the poor picture quality; it was taken with a wet iPhone. :)

Very cool tight beads you got there Nick!!! Any more beading shots from different parts of the car?

I'm looking forward to your write-up.

How much of the product was used of the 4 oz? Looking forward to more.....

Nick, looking forward to the write-up.

So this stuff is self leveling like applying oc? Will have a bottle on the way soon. Looking for alternatives to wolfs hard body for my lower cost add on.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using AG Online

Application between the two is very similar, with the most obvious difference being the packaging (spray vs syringe).

Looking forward to your full write up Nick.

I'm looking forward to writing it! I just finished cropping and re-sizing the photos; stay tuned! :)

that looks like Hard Body beading when I had it on my car last year

Hard body gets pretty slammed for durability, would be disappointing if this is just relabeled hard body.

With all due respect, I don't see how a beading shot taken within hours of any LSP application is something noteworthy. If it doesn't look like that, you've got a problem.

Not saying the product is not what it claims to be, but take that same picture in two years and the claims about this product are indeed accurate.

I'm skeptical about any product claiming years of protection or even being permanent? Is this based on a chemists best guess , or on actual field data tested on actual cars over the time span of their claims?

This thread has had over 600 views since Sunday and the thread - Post Your Beading Shots!!! - is over 25 pages long so there is definitely interest in beading shots. No one is forced to click on or participate in a thread.

All you can do is trust the name on the bottle. If that's not good enough, then you have to test the product and find out for yourself.
