Possible So-Cal Geek Meetup . . . ? ? ?

Being inspired by the awesome content from the VA group... which made me :drool:

I wanted to see how much interest, how many members, would be be interested in a So-Cal meet up.

I could organize, however with my living situation i cannot host.

Therefore im just trying to see:

1] how many people would be interested
2] who could possibly host
3] what a consensus day would be [im thinkin sat or sun]
4] i doubt many would turn down a bbq/potluck as well
5] what sorts of things would those interested like to do?

Feed back please for those who are interested....

From what I have learned maybe there is more

I know some of them have free classes/ that could be a meet up right there

You guys should! Detailing in Irvine had a parking lot full of corvettes it made my 2003 look like a bucket haha

Plus I didn't wash it before going, (had no idea there was going to be a demo lol)
 
Well back to beachkidcb

Set it up and We'll see how it goes...

A hose, hose facet is all I need and I could wash and wax the outside plus shade, electrical cord then I can get into paint correction.

Of course miles may vary
 
As far as what everyone would be interested in, I believe everyone can agree to a detail meet like the one JSou hosted which looked like so much fun! Unfortunately I cannot host either because I do not have a place of my own.

IF youre seriously interested respond with the following

1] Where you live.
2] IF could possibly host [would need hose hook up, power, shade preferrably or a pop up [PRAY FOR OVERCAST :)]
3] what a consensus day would be [im thinkin sat or sun]
4] interest level in a potluck/bbq style meet 1-10
5] What Sort of activity would you like.
6] any other suggestions

I will set up any and all logistics to make it simple.... although i wont refuse help :D

but i would like to have as close to 10 if not more people....

Once i see the interest is generated i can work on planning.....

1] Irvine/Pasadena is where i live.. lol i can do either
2] cant host :(
3] what a consensus day would be [im thinkin sat or sun]
4] 10 ! I LOVE BBQ's and can bring some killer food
5] ID like to dem products, do real time corresctions, talk interior, do what others prefer to adventure intop
6] Want it to be fun and informative!!!!

Beachkid if your in irvine then your in the main city of all the Detailing places here in socal from what I have learned
