Possible So-Cal Geek Meetup . . . ? ? ?

Count me in. Live in Irvine. Can't host (live in condo) but have some ideas. I'll PM.
 
Sorry haven't posted because I was finishing the Black BMW but I am finally done after 13 hours (short I know) go to my post and read more, haven't loaded pictures yet (enough about that sorry to hijack)

1) La Puente
2)can't host
3)Sat or Sun
4) any food (plus I know how to cook, I even know how to make sushi, shrimp po boys, clam chowder all from scratch "beer can chicken" would be cool and simple to make! )
5)will bring my SnapOn rotary and would be willing to trade it for something else. It works but it only goes on and off, no in between. (It is mickey moused)

Might bring another rotary, wool pad, black foam pad if someone wants to take it for a spin

Plus will bring my PTG (just for fun) :D

EVERYONE has to bring a FOOD item that is enough quantity for all to enjoy.... none of this, " ill bring drinks," and that person brings soda and napkins LOL

So were gettin a solid group of people committing, still in the process of locking the date... looks to be within the next few weeks. Hopefully a few of the busier geeks will have time to hit the forums this weekend and join this meet-up. :dblthumb2:

Ok let me put this another way.

Meguiar's opens up there GARAGE every other Thursday Night from 5:15 to 10 pm. 5 hours of access to all things Megs.

So we have:
A Place
Tools, lot's of tools!
Air compressors
Free Pizza and soda
Products, all the latest and older products too
Other people, meet other people besides AGer's

TNOG is the perfect place to do this. And it's already going on.
Do we really need to try and find a place put out money and try to get some tools together?

I'm just saying, this is an easy way to get us together without all the hassle.
There are 26 spots open for the August 29th TNOG
All you have to do is register, indroduce yourself and post

I can even host at my apt complex in Rancho Santa Margarita, a bit far for most as I'm in the "Deep South OC" :).
But Detailing.com is on the way to and from my house.

Yeah I registered and posted and signed up, but sadly missed my date. Due to confusion.

Not sure, from the spreadsheet, looks like we are going to have a lot of stuff to use/try out.
 
Give me a garage and equipment and I'll work for free (this time)

So AUG 17th seems to be the best date for everyone so far.

I am still locking down a venue that is most centralized.

As far as activities go we will confer with one another when everyone arrives and go off the suggestions you have made via spread sheet. Things happen last minute and we can be flexible. It seems a lot of people want to try products and or tools so that shouldnt be a problem. Please recheck sheet for updates.
