First of all... welcome to the Autogeek Forums!

Second of all... EVERY CAR IS WORTH WAXING!

Third of all... asking what type of wax is "good" is a question that simply does not have a right answer. There are thousands of "good" products - some that you can even find at your local auto parts store.

Since it seems like you are relatively new to the detailing world, I will refer you to the resident expert - Mike Phillips - as he has prepared a fantastic section full of articles relating to every aspect of detailing that you can possibly think to explore. Do a bit of reading and then feel free to ask any more specific questions.

Also, there is a great area full of product reviews that may be able to point you towards a nice product to try.

Zach,

The finish on that Lexus is amazing. What products resulted in that?

As a fan of his work, I'm pretty sure he's got 22ple on their with some V7 touch ups now and then. But I could be wrong.

And OP it's all about the prep, the wax just protects and alters the look somewhat. So make sure to ckay and paint cleaner at least before waxing.

Dang near any quality wax, sealant or coating will create a clear, glassy, high gloss finish, but as stated above, the key to these kinds of results starts with the prep steps.

We used Pinnacle Signature Series II Wax on this clearcoated yellow paint but the results were created first in the claying and machine polishing.
