How hard are automatic carwash brushes ?

I go to a car wash that that uses strips of cloth. I wash my car twice a week for the last 2 years and I havent seen any scratches or swirls. Almost everbody that I know goes to the same car wash , and nobody has any scratches. I have to add that the carwash is only 2 years old and highlt maintained. This car wash has the latest technology.
 
2BM should be the only car wash you use unless your the foam cannon type.

pictures please. I dont believe that spinning strips of cloth is scratch free. A sun pic would be nice
 
I agree with the rest of the above. About a month after doing a full correction on my car i decided to risk it and get it washed at a very reputable place around here. Let's just say i had tiny swirls in my fenders and roof.
 
I have a rule. If it scratches your skin, it will scratch the paint!

Coming from a noobie, I would expect it, but you have been a geek for over 7 years. You must have some connection to the car wash.

No connection. as a matter of fact me and my grandaughter are going there tomorrow to wash the car . she vacuumes which is free , and also does the door jams, I go over windows and drips with a waffel mf towel. Cars done 15 minutes , I may, or not use a spray wax after. Everbody I know tell me how good my car looks. My buddy goes to the same car wash and his cars look great too, and he is a Nufinish user.

Larry there is no possible way. Your car has to be swirled. I dont believe it.
 
All come on guys I mean really, long soft strips off 2000 grit or worse, they'll never scratch your paint. NOT!!! :eek:
