Hello everyone I wanted to introduce myself to you guys and gals

So I can honestly say I'm fairly new to really detailing I dont want to sit here and say I truly knew the proper way and products to use first and after and your site def has amazing help and really opened my eyes. I see so many products and I'm dying to try them all just spent money daily on buying the wrong products and then get stuck with them so this site is hopefully going to help me in that department. Money is tight and want to try so many products but can't afford them all.

Anyway hello to you all

This is a great place to get a good general sense of what products are really effective for a given purpose so you don't have to spend a lot of money buying things and hoping they work. Everyone has their preferences, which makes for lively debates, but when lots of people rave about a product it's most likely a good one.

Greetings. And enjoy.

Welcome!

AG is a good place to spend your limited dollars. The products are top-notch, Customer Service is great, and help/advice on the forum is free. First, decide what you NEED for products, and watch for sales/BOGOs, etc. and go from there.

Welcome! Bellmore, NY here!

Sick bro. I'm not to far from you man
I'm in the 5 towns.

Hewlett. North Woodmere Woodmere. Area.

Sick man. I thank you all for the good welcome. I'm like truly addicted. Been working on my car that's been neglected for a while. I never used to treat my cars like that. Especially when I had my 7 series. And my other car the maxima I was day to day been neglected. So I'm driving the maxima now. Sold the 7 series. Too many bad stare downs I was getting from other people. Haters. So eff it. I don't need any fancy shmancy at the moment. I don't hate on other people's nice cars.

Anyway been working on my car for the last few days doing piece by piece panel by panel. Interior the whole 9. Trying to get the upholestry cleaned up top the roof area and below carpets. Any suggestions it's got some stains that need to be gone.

We are about 10 miles from each other. I think there is an AGO member in between us.

A little Folex from Walmart or even a good APC at a high dilution should be the starting point, work in lightly with a carpet brush, let dwell for a min or two, then follow-up with a wet-steamer type product to pick-up whatever is there. I have a BISSELL Auto Care ProHeat, so feel free to PM me and plan on stopping by and we can test it out, trade, etc.... I am about to open it and use it for the first time on my friend's Caddy CSX.

I was just talking to a friend of mine about the good ole days when we were younger. Literally chilling in bellmore merrick daily. With all the girls and what not. Those wer the days. When I was 17-20 years old. Now I'm. 30 and feel like an old man. Anyway yeah bro we should def Try it out trade whatever. Don't Matter ill go buy some stuff that you recommended and see if it does anything. Any APC you like best? Sorry if this isn't the right section for talking about this don't want to cause any issues. And as far as PM'ing. Gotta get my post count up first I believe which shouldn't b an issue believe me. I'm addicted to this place

I'm also looking to get a good machine polisher waxer buffer jig. Whatever you wanna call it I'm so confused already about it it's driving me insane

Don't make fun of me but. I recently. Went and bought the turtle wax orbital wax 10inch. Not to hate on it. But it's just cheap junk. Maybe not nice to say. But. It wasn't strong enough at all It's good for maybe applying the wax or polish compound whatever. But taking it off. Deffff not. I want something. Not to expensive. That can do both if that's possible. I was maybe thinking of gettjng one of them from Harbor freight. There's a store not to far from where I am What does anyone think about them. Or should I just use the search button don't wanna post any new threads for no reason

Definitely look to pick up the harbor freight polisher if you don't wanna wait for an order from online. Otherwise get the griots polisher, lifetime warranty and a nice powerful motor to get the job done.

If you need any help or wanna try out some products let me know I'm in queens but I'm always out in Nassau.
