My son did not get my passion for cleaning cars as I hoped he would. He might run his truck through a car wash once a month. Since I received my meguires m105 and 205 in I figured his truck was the perfect test. Surprisingly it didn't have many swirls probably due to him never washing it. But it had scratches all over. Here are a few before shots. Although hard to see in the white paint he had pretty bad oxidation. View attachment 20126View attachment 20127View attachment 20128

Here are a few 50/50 shots after m105. View attachment 20129View attachment 20130View attachment 20131View attachment 20132

Here are a few shots after m105 205 and some synthetic carnauba I picked up for .50 a bottle. View attachment 20133View attachment 20134View attachment 20135View attachment 20136View attachment 20137View attachment 20138View attachment 20139

I'll try to get some shots in the day light tomorrow. I'm really happy with how well it turned out.

The color looks off because it was dark and I had to adjust the camera settings to show the difference. But his truck is arctic white.

Great Job, IMO if he keeps going to the car washes. Maybe a touch free car wash will work for him?

I went to just check it out, and it worked. (For the most part)

Still prefer to do it on my own :D

Either way great job

It's not a bad wax, easy on easy off and good water beading.

Great turn around!

OT: That's an ugly owie on the tailgate...OOPS!

Bill

Your son's blessed to have a nice dad like you :)

Hope he appreciates the time and effort you put into this!

On a side note, is it just me or is the rear portion dented inwards?
Edit: Just noticed BillE's comment..

It does have some dings on it but nothing real bad. The tail gate is dented inwards but you can't wax that out:)
