I got the opportunity to detail a 2003 ford F350. I apologize for the pictures as I am not the best photogropher. First off was the interior it was pretty hammard

This surprised me a lil bit

I steamed off the grime on the steering wheel .

With the steamer and a little help from Griots is how all of the interior was cleaned I used mothers leather tech on the leather in some of the tougher spots.

The chrome had some nasty spotting that occurs from winter driving. This can also happen in the summer when it rains due to mag chloride still on the ground.

The truck was washed and decontaminated with the magic shine auto eraser. When the nanoskin and speedy prep towel started becoming popular I decided to search around and came across this. It was only 12 dollars at the time and works very well. I will probably be getting a nanoskin disc when this one starts to loose is effectiveness.
The truck was then masked off due to the pin stripe and much of the black plastic door handles and trim that if any wax or polish were to get on would be a nightmare to get off.

The trucks paint was in pretty good shape not what I expected from a truck used on a farm all I needed was all that was needed was a one step with lake country orange and M105.

I apologize for the lack of pics during and after but at this point I was really moving along and didn’t have the time to snap any pics, plus I am not much of a photographer.
I polished the chrome molding using the same method as the paint. Here you can see the nasty spotting on the right side and the left after one pass

All the polishing was done with the HF dual action polisher.

The truck was waxed usings Meguiars ultimate wax paste. Tires dressed with Meguiars endurance tire Gel. Leather cleaned with mothers leather tech foaming wash and conditioned with mothers leather moisture infusion gel.
Glass cleaned with good old IPA. Wheels sealed with Meguiars UW paste. Interior treated with Meguiars supreme shine.

Nothing gets missed

At the end of this I just wanted to say with the excption of the pads and auto shine magic eraser most everything I used on this can be found over the counter and to someone who is starting out or is new to detailing you can get good results with products that are good that you can find anywhere. Thank you for looking, comments questions welcome

Wow that interior looks brand new...such a turnaround! Great work!

Out of curiosity, what products did you use on the interior?

I hope the owner puts the care into keeping it looking that nice that you put in to making it look that nice. How long did the whole thing take you?

And your photography skills are better than you give yourself credit for.

Very nice cleanup. What a big job done right!

Great work on the interior and paint! I see you had to be an exterminator too...were there any wasps in that nest? How long did it take you to do the interior?

Justin. Thank you so very much for the compliment. On the Interior I used the mothers leather tech cleaner and conditioner and the help of the steamer. For the rest I used Meguiars all purpose cleaner and my shark pocket steamer. The interior was dressed with Meguiars supreme shine.

I think they will. They are some of the nicest people I have met. The whole truck took me aobut 12 hours total and most of it was on the interior. Thank you again ekennett

I was lucky that there were no wasps! Thank you for the compliment the interior took me 9 hours. Thank you all again.

Did you use the shark steamer for the steering wheel aswell?
I didn't think those were all that powerful

yes i did. The steamer i have is a pretty handy unit. I would like to get something nicer some day as the only problem I have with it is it is hard to get into certian areas cus its like a tea pot. I have not used any other steamers to compare it to anything else but it works good for me.

Great job, looks brand new. Can't believe the owner didn't even bother to flick off that bees/wasp nest in the door jamb knowing how easy it is to remove....

Kickass job buddy , this is a big thing to clean , how long it took you to do this great job mate .

The truck looks great, inside and out!

It must have been sitting for a while to have a wasp nest built.
