I recently bought a truck about a month ago and I am having a hard time washing the middle of my truck. How do you guys do it? I am 6'1'' and can barely reach the middle of my windshield, hood and roof. I have tried a ladder but that doesn't work. Is there anything out there that would help, like a work platform?

Wouldn't a work platform pretty much be like using a ladder though? I need something that can give me some more stretch over my truck. Any advice would be great.

Thanks!:dblthumb2:

Werner work platform will help your greatly!

yes platform works great , u can also consider a wash brush/pad on a extension pole . I use a Montana boars hair brush equipped with a painters telescopic extension pole . works great and I can reach anything . boars hair brush not cheap though .

Thanks for the feedback. I just dont know if a platform will provide enough reach for me to get in the middle of the hood. The boars hair brush won't hurt the paint?

I use the front tires. If need be use a stool to get your feet on the tires.

My truck sits pretty high and the only part I cannot reach using the Werner work platform is the very top, middle of the windshield.

That's okay though because I use the Werner work platform to get into the back of the truck and then when I wipe down the roof or wash the roof I can reach over the cab roof and get the small section of glass and rubber seal that I can't reach when standing at the side of the truck.

That's a big truck Mike. Looks awesome. I wish my paint was flat like that.

I have a crew cab Ram that its hard to reach the middle windshield from any direction. The only way to get at it is from the front. I am thinking about the boars hair brush and possibly the platform too. Do they have anything for microfiber towels on a pole for drying?

Again on the werner work platform. It is tall enough to do just about anything and you can still have some range of movement.
