How to clean your Nanoskin Autoscrub Pads

Recently we used Cyclo Polishers to remove all the yellow overspray paint off a 1949 Chevrolet 5-Window Pickup. Here you can see the yellow overspray paint that built up on the face of the Cyclo Nanoskin Autoscrub Pads. I've placed some brand new pads next to them on the right to make the yellow color a lot easier to see.

Left Side = Used Pads

Right Side = Brand New Pads that have never been used.

Here you can actually see yellow paint building up in the on the tiny rubber pads...

Here's a way to clean them using Blackfire Clay Cleaner and Extender and a soft, nylon detailing brush.

In the below picture I've only cleaned one half of each pad to show the visual difference between before and after.

This is a close-up of the pad on the right in the picture above...

And here's the same to used pads after cleaning and rinsing both sides.

Thanks Mike,

I stumbled on the pads earlier today and have been watching some videos. I was curious on how to clean them when I found this thread.

Can you clean the pads with everyday household items or do you have to use a special cleaner?

Thanks
