*** UPDATE our block of rooms at Marriott are full you will need to call them directly to see if they have any rooms open for you. 772-781-3344

This year we will be using several of the area hotels but our main one will be the Marriott Courtyard
Stuart which is just a mile from our headquarters.

We have a group rate of $125 nightly for the weekend, last year we booked up the hotel well before
March so if you are coming down I would suggest not waiting to reserve your room!

Unfortunately as with most hotels there is a bit of a price difference. There is however a liquor store down the road less than 2 minutes and its stocked with all the best brands. :props:
 
Booked! Stayed last year at the Holiday Inn, and that was not bad, but the action was at the Courtyard! The Courtyard rooms were nicer as well.

I tried to take of for Detail Fest in September. I "take off" online on a workforce management website. My DM called me and asked why I was taking off so early for 2014.

Still can't get confirmed I have the time off. I'm so important PA can't be without me for a week I guess.
 
I should've told her I was taking off for a Longaberger Basket Show or a scrap book convention. Probably would have had it approved by now.

Its a relatively well lit spacious surface parking lot with enough parking there is usually plenty of wide open empty spaces to park away from the masses. Do a Google Earth or Map search and you should be able to see the hotel parking lot.
 
The Marriott is booking up fast I imagine they will be full by end of the year,
so we have secured a second option. This one is closer to our historical downtown Stuart.
Great place to walk the streets, dine, drink, and listen to some local bands.
I have stayed at this hotel and it is very nice, not to mention they will feed
you in the morning before you head on over to Detail Fest.

I think I'll sleep in my car. Afraid of bed bugs. The news says they are every where.
 
Actually, I just checked my online scheduler and my time off was approved. Barring a death in the family, this year I'll be there.
