Can anyone recommend a good random orbital buffer that won't break the bank? I've seen some that are $25.00 and some that are $400.00. I am not fanatical about detailing but want to do a good job buffing wax and sealants. Will any of the lower priced ones do the job? I'd love to stay under $70.00.

Thanks,

Mike

After my Griots DA kicked my wife was giving me a hard time about my spending on guns and car stuff lol. Bought a harbor freight DA and have used it probably 4-5 tines. Works great for 50 bucks.

yea grab yourself the harbor freight one for $50 its basically a PC for less then half the price. and get a 5" backing plate for it and your set

harbor freight da is the best value. with the coupon you can walk out the door for under 50 bucks. do not buy the harbor freight pads though there horrible. your going to need another backing plate whatever one of your choosing along with the pads you plan to use. I've personally put my hf up against a pc, g110v2, and the griots garage da and it out performed the pc and the g110v2 but it say it tied with the griots da. same pads and product for each same passes. the harbor freight cant be beat for the money. you do need to put more grease in the head but thats pretty easy.

Def get a different backing plate. I switched it out for the CG 6 inch. Works great. My griots lifetime warranty didn't work since my dog chewed my cord off

I recommend the Griots Garrage. The manufacturer will give you 6 months to try it if you buy it directly from them. Only con is that shipping is slow expect 7-10 business days to receive it.

It seems a little more powerfull then the Meguiars DA polisher, and it has a Lifetime Warranty.
