Hello geeks, my name is Dave and I have been a lurker for a better part of a year. I currently own a 2012 jeep wrangler, black, that unfortunately has swirls and scratches. I live at the beach in NJ and drive a Budweiser truck for a living. I am in minutes about to pull the trigger on getting a gg6. I know there are a ton of threads on here on what the best compounds are, and for lurking so long I feel like I should know what to grab. I guess I am blanking out, nervous really. Anyone have any suggestions for a first timer?

Welcome to AGO Dave!

The GG6" polisher is a great idea. You can't go wrong with any compound polish duo around here. Blackfire, Meguiars, Wolfgang, Menzerna, and Pinnacle are all great.

Welcome to AGO Dave.

The house brand compound and polishes are great. Ie Wolfgang and BlackFire twins. Both are made by Menzerna.

Welcome Dave!!!!!

You do realize the first 2 sentences of your introduction sounds like something one would say in a AA meeting. It's okay. We were all once like you and admitting you have a problem is the first step.

Seriously.... you can't go wrong with Wolfgang, Blackfire, Menzerna, and Meg.

Thanks guys. I think I'll be going with the Wolfgang twins. Appreciate the replies. I will be sure to throw up some before and after shots.
