I am placing an order. I really like the Dj. It goes on really easy and looks great. I thought I had another pot but ended up only with a small amount that might do the hood. So I am trying to choose from what I have to complete the job tomorrow. The only other eaxes I have thought about...
So today I was excited for the first time in a month to have time to detail my car. I washed with Meg's gold wash. Then I polished with Meg's ultimate compound. Next I applied Meg's mirror glaze #7. I live in a rural area and have to order everything and just realized I am too low on dodo...
Thank you for the compliment. I could not get a very good picture of the car. It is even brighter blue up close and a very striking metallic. The paint is a 3 stage paint- black, purple, and then blue. After my previous detail, it looked like it was navy blue and the metallic was not...
I didn't care for the dura gloss by itself.... This was why I tried some paste wax over it. That produced the desired effect but quickly dissipated. I tried the Dj combo after seeing several pictures on other peoples posts so I decided to give it a try. The shine is amazing. It is super easy...
I have spent the last month or so experimenting with different waxes to see what will really make the metallic in my paint pop. I first used OTC Meg waxes. The Meg's ultimate paste wax applied under a coating of dura gloss was amazing. The problem is that it doesn't last and attracts dust and...
The rain let up long enough to wash , Polish and apply 1 coat of bv. Now to wait until it clears again for a second coat. I am trying to decide if I want to add the purple haze this time around. After one coat, I am impressed with the glossiness and the boost to the blue paint.[ATTACH]3552
Nice pics. I have a blue metallic Mazda. With the right products it looks amazing. So many thing I have tried just make it too like a dark navy car... Or do not last long enough. I am hoping to see the sun long enough tomorrow to finally be able to wash it and get started.
I purchased some dodo juice blue velvet and purple haze. I am starting to get bummed that it has never stopped raining and I still haven't got to try it yet.
So let me live vicariously.... What was your experience with these?
I do not like the look of liquid glass without something under it. Otherwise, it amplifies all the flaws. Using the paste wax under it hides a lot of the imperfections. At least that was what happened on my husbands bmw. It looks great, but every swirl is amplified
I tried Megs gold carnuba wax- it was certainly shiny.... But everything stuck to the car. I want a harder finish. I drove through a rural area that is constantly under construction everyvday. I was hoping to find something to help cut down on all the rock pecks to the paint.
I was looking...
I have been reading online and looking for something to really bring out the metallic in my blue paint. I hesitate to pay $100 for wax and then hate it. So while I have been trying to make up my mind- today I clay barred my car, used dura gloss sealant, 2 coats of Megs ultimate paste wax and...
