Is coating a new car a "bad" idea if you like to tinker with products? I'm in a similar situation - I figured coating the car would be a good move to help protect against swirls and etc. It's a weekend car - maybe 500-600 miles a month.

Not after... I did before....but then I rinsed, foam cannoned, 2b wash, dry, and then Iron-x. I hope that stuff was off by then! ha

That's initially what I thought as well but I just did a car 2 weeks ago with the BOSS and used the same speed. (I think ha)
