Just a stupid question when you talk clockwise verses counter clockwise are you looking down at the pad from the operators position or are you looking directly at the shaft ??? Thank you in advance for the reply ! Brian

    Chevy Avalanche Vinyl

I did use the Solution finish on the Avalanche, I prepared it as recommended , hand brushed and cleaned the vinyl, let it get good and dry. The I applied the Solution Finish absolutely amazing what a difference it made ! I did get into some trouble, due to the fact that it was an extremely humid...

    New Makita PO5000CX2

Hey guys thank you for the input, it does not go unappreciated ! I do have a couple of Rotary buffers, that I use when I do a job that is real oxidized with a fine lambs wool pad, but we all know that it leaves swirl marks. I like the Orbital Machine, nice and light, but it has limitations...

    Rotary Polisher Flex 14-2-150

How many individuals on here own the Flex Rotary 14-2-150 ? And the big question is how is it holding up ? I have owned Dewalt, Black and Decker, AEG, and Makita Rotary polishes. I am a boat enthusiast and when you buff a boat you are really beating on any machine that you are using, any...

Compound and then Wax (no polish)?

Put the car outside in the sunlight and look at it from different angles. Often the car looks great inside of a building with fluorescent lighting. Put it in the sunlight and you sometimes will be amazed, any swirl marks will show up pretty quickly. Good luck

Funny how we are all searching for the best least costly product to do a great job. I was over my friends house the other day, he has several show quality cars. I popped the question regarding Maguires products. He brought me over to his detail cabinet, HONEST TO GOD IT WAS FILLED FROM TOP TO...

    Marine Upholstery Problem

Boat was in storage for two years covered with tarp, not as tight as shrink wrap but not bad. We had a pretty intense storm blowing sideways, it did wet the upholstery that I was not aware of. Uncovered the boat a year later, mold everywhere and plenty of it. Mixed up a what I thought was a...

Compound, Swirl Mark Remover & Wax build up on black vinyl.

That is a great secret but in reality masking the vinyl is problematic because most of the vehicles I do work on are pretty clean and people typically treat the vinyl. Now the masking tape does not want to stick ! So typically I will hand work the paint up near the molding but as we all know you...
