I put Megs Hybrid Ceramic Spray on my Kodiak two years ago and it lasted really well, but we don't go mudding.

Hypothetically, could two 30-gallon compressor/tanks be connected in parallel? (Assuming unlimited cash, space, and power...). Would that have the effect similar to 60 gallons that fills quickly?

The footprint of a 30 gallon is about the same as an 80 gallon. Why would you get two 30's?

I could buy a nice 30 gallon air compressor or maybe I can come up with the cash for a 60 or 80 gallon version of the same compressor. A bigger tank means I can push more CFM for longer which is great. But here's my question-- are there any downsides to a larger tank? One thing I'm concerned...

I've been debating whether to ask this question because I think the answer is obvious, but I guess I will go through with it: cleaning and protecting a modern farm tractor should work about the same as an automobile, right? Our usual tools, chemicals, and techniques wouldn't be any different...

There is a video on Youtube from Chicago Auto Pros called "Jason Burns A Car... How Many Times Can You REALLY Polish Paint?" where they were able to complete 60 passes on a modern car. Obviously YMMV but it's a fun video.

Do we know that? That the replacement is different than the original?

I guess I still don't understand why the backing plate is failing. It looks like it's getting too hot-- won't replacing the backing plate with a new one end up the same way?

I really like to use BF One but I'm worried about it leaving behind a sealant that will interfere with the ceramic coating application. What's a good AIO that doesn't leave anything behind?

I had a similar problem on my GG9 this weekend (10/10/20). I haven't had a chance to contact Griot's, but the backing plate got so hot, the pad melted to it. There's no way to undo that, the backing plate is permanently ruined. I wasn't doing anything unusual-- Blackfire One on an orange LC...

So you twist the selector between sanding, rotary, and 12 / 15 / 21mm random orbital? That's a pretty good trick actually. I don't know if that's a $700 problem for me but I can't wait to see reviews.

The high pressure hose loss is negligible under 1000 feet. I don't think it matters from a technical standpoint how you choose to set it up. I guess I'd personally choose to minimize the amount of hose I have to coil up after each use.

No, I haven't. I even bought some but it's been sitting on the shelf.
