Checked online & found one store in the area w/ them @ $24. Others had them on clearance for $35-$50 or at regular price. Went and got 2 @$24. But they were marked $41 clearance in store. Check by the tools. They didn't have one on display, just in boxes on the shelf.

I wonder if they shower in the rain while washing the car as well??? Since you & the car are just going to get dirty again & to save money on the water bill. :dunno:

Can you feel them w/ your fingernail? Are they in the same spots after each polish? What about wet sanding a spot w/ some 3000g?

I may try the bp, can't hurt. In fact I probably have one I can drill holes into. Dave, thanks for all of the info. Unfortunaltey I don't have access to air at the moment but I will definitely monitor the pad heat & how much product I'm using.

I'll probably get some more w/ the next order & alternate pads after each panel to try to keep the heat down. I can't tell b/c the logo area has flattened out so it is not readable. These are the new version after the original adhesive issue. If they were updated again then I don't have those.

I don't have air so I use a pad brush after every section. Probably the issue. They do cut well until they fall apart. :cool: I'm down to one Megs cutting mf so we'll see. I'll just use it on hoods & trunks for now.

Are there any MF pads that last more than a couple of uses? The original Megs MF pads had the glue issue & came apart. (See lower pic.) I got the replacements & now the hook/loop backing is coming off. (Upper pic) I got the Megs replacements a while ago, only used them a few times, then left...

Door/trunk jambs, fuel cap area, engines, interiors including headliner, windows (home & auto) if they're really bad, bathrooms, kitchen, house door sill plates. Almost anywhere I would normally use a chemical to clean or disinfect I'll consider steam.

Was the wife happy? That's what really counts. :cool:

Well I didn't plan on trying this yet but did 3 cars today using an interior brush on the PC w/ Zep orange. It worked great on 2 of the cars. 3rd one didn't clean as well as I would have liked. Maybe a stiffer brush next time. No b4 pics since I wasn't planning on doing this, just sort of...
