Anyone who does pro detail on weekends while having a regular 5 day 37.5 hour a week job?

Sounds demanding. But, since you have a career, you can accept and decline as many jobs as you want. Pick and choose according to your schedule. I did the same at one point in my early 20's. Would get off work at 3pm and fit in 3 basic details at business parks. What really helped me was DI...

    Pressure Washer Wall Mount Ideas

Hey guys, I just purchased a small Ryobi 1600 psi electric at HD for $99 and spent $440 on complete Mosmatic/MTM - 50ft hose, gun, wand, foam cannon and fittings from Obsessed Garage. I'm now looking to set everything up by mounting on the wall. My main question is: Can I place the electric...

    Mobile detail business?

The trailer is a good option if you have a vehicle that can haul the load. If you don't I would recommend any type of service van that is big enough for the detailing equipment. IMO, the must haves for mobile detailing are: 1. Pressure Washer - gas preffered, mounted, at least 2000 PSI 2...

    High PSI pressure washing.

I used 2,700 psi when detailing professionally but now use 1,800 psi electric at home. I would gauge my distance with 25 degree tip on the 2,700 and had great performance with it. 1,800 feels like a plastic toy.

    GG6 Review

When I used my GG6 for the first time, I was so pleased that I sold my Flex 3401 to buy more pads for my GG6.

    Mark II 15

I heard from another thread that they don't sell the mark II backing plates separately yet. And I don't know if the mark II 21 and 15 backing plates are interchangeable. I'm assuming they are.

Rupes LHR 15 Mark II: What is the best cutting MF pad?

So would it be correct to say that Meg's MF pads aren't meant for long throws since they suggested the use with their DA?

Rupes LHR 15 Mark II: What is the best cutting MF pad?

I'm assuming a thinner foam interface would be better for cutting and a pad with a thicker foam interface would be better for finishing. Does this make sense? Your thoughts? If this is the case, should I just stick to all foam finishing pads?

    Crazy newbie rotary question:

Yeah, maybe you can wait a few weeks and save up some money or something to get a DA and better polish. These tools will last and you're eliminating the risk of mistakes with a tool you've never used. Plus, most professionals are not even using rotary anymore. DAs have improved sooooo much...

Rupes LHR 15 Mark II: What is the best cutting MF pad?

My e92 isn't too bad but since I sold my business and moved houses, I haven't paid much attention to it as I used to. So it might need some correcting. I know my wife's TSX is trashed. While I wasn't detailing too much I would tell her to just run it through a tunnel just so she could feel it...
