    Thanks breese & trekkerus If I strip the sealant and apply non abrasive glaze then re-add sealant wax, will that make it look any better? It's a black truck, shows everything.

    It's my neighbor's truck, he is not the original owner; it's about 9 years old, GMC Sierra, 4 door extended cab. There are no marks similar on any of the fenders/doors or side panels (I've not checked the roof).

    Thanks trekkerus, Using the fingernail test, they feel like scratches. I'm not very good with photos, it's like there's small (qtr inch long) white scratches all over the hood, this is the only one that is clustered. {sigh} if only it were a white car.
