I've got stains on my paint and glass from a touchless car wash(before I knew better). The wash did a crappy job of rinsing, so the heat drying at the end baked on streaks of soap. I've taken care of the painted parts, but the glass is still stained. Clay didn't help. What would be the next...

Will IronX damage or stain trim, glass, or anything else? Should I be careful to only let it touch paint?

I use quick detailer for clay lube. Does that stain or affect the plastic trim underneath the windshield?

The roof looked rough before. It looks good from here, but it's dark now. The real test will come tomorrow when it's sunny out I think I just need some practice with the DA and the correct amounts of product on the pad.

This is a picture of the test spot on the hood. It got rid of a lot of the water spots and oxidation, but the swirls are still there.

That's one thing I'm not sure about. How do I know when it's time to clean the pad or put a new one on?

I should have given you more details. I did use the polish after the compound. Compound with an orange pad, polish with a white pad. My results aren't necessarily bad, they just aren't like the pics I see around this forum.
