I applied cquartz uk3.0 about a week ago but now I notice these spots near the headlights (as circled in white). Pardon the water spots as well cause have yet to wash car :)
I did the usual methods prior to coating. Wash decon polish ipa then coating. To my memory I did not notice these spots...
So just to be sure.
I should use something like this DA Compound Power Pack
With UC and the pad to try to remove the coating and defects.
Then followed by Ultimate Polish
To polish everything off?
Sorry for the trouble. I feel like a newbie trying to salvage something that I had done...
Maybe I will try Meg UC first by hand.
Here at my country the more easily product are from Sonax and Meg. Any suggestions on the pad I shd use to try to polish?
Also. How would I know if the coating is fully removed?
That is comforting to hear. At least I know my paint is unaffected.
I kinda of a newbie. So please bear with me and guide me through the process.
So next step I should try to polish the coating off using a compound?
I am new to detailing so I tried coating on the hood first.
Product used was Kisho Coating. A Japanese brand. Not sure if u guys heard of it.
Oh man. I did not do a surface prep with any product.
Car was sitted outside but I guess there wasn't any dew as in the morning when I check the car...
